\u00a0Il ne fait aucun doute dans le cadre des efforts des Nations Unies pour maintenir la paix et la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 internationales, la gestion des conflits sahraouie a tourn\u00e9 vers l’Organisation des Nations Unies qui a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 l’impossibilit\u00e9 d’organiser un r\u00e9f\u00e9rendum pour r\u00e9soudre le probl\u00e8me du Sahara occidentale au niveau r\u00e9gional dans l’isolement d’intervention de l’ONU, \u00e0 la suite d’une proposition faite par le Secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral des Nations Unies le 20 mars 1986 ; comprend la coop\u00e9ration avec l’Organisation de l’unit\u00e9 africaine (OUA) pour r\u00e9soudre le diff\u00e9rend entre les deux partie, qui \u00e9tait couronn\u00e9 en soumettant un document appele\u0301 “document de re\u0300glement” en 1998, qui avait e\u0301te\u0301 accept\u00e9 par les parties au conflit la m\u00eame ann\u00e9e et adopt\u00e9 par le Conseil de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 en 1990.<\/p>\n
