fighting against terrorism<\/p>\n<p>Abstract:<\/p>\n<p>September 11, 2001 is a major turning point that shaped the USA and International Community perceptions on terrorism, which threaten all countries and humankind. The USA declared its war on terrorism and it had focused on cooperation with different parts of the world including the African continent. Hence, the 2001 and 2004 international action led to the creation of a Counter Terrorism Executive Directorate (CTED).
