Arab and African countries link by historical and geographical ties.<\/p>\n

There are about 10 Arab countries that are at the same time African countries. They also join in the same regional organizations as the League of Arab States and the African Union.
\nEmphasizing the strengthening of relations between the two parties, the Arab and African countries have sought to form cooperative organs and mechanisms that translate this interdependence into actions and movements on the ground. It was initially the Arab-African Summit which held every three years, the last of which was in Ghana – Malabo 2016, The Arab-African Institute for Culture and Strategic Studies,and the Arab African Committee of Ambassadors, On the other hand, the Arab countries were keen to strengthen their relations with African countries by establishing funds for development and providing financial and technical assistance to African countries such as the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa and the Arab Fund for Technical Assistance to African Countries.
\nDespite the cooperative policies between the two sides, they face many challenges at all political, economic and social levels. This has been reflected in the low volume of intra-Arab trade between the Arab and African countries, which does not exceed 10% compared to the volume of trade with the European Union or China, Which sometimes exceeds about 50% . In addition to the continuation of the traditional approach to cooperation based on the provision of aid and grants rather than investment orientation and the involvement of the private sector in the establishment of various projects serving the needs of African peoples.<\/p>\n
